Fayr Wynds Shelties

Fayr Wynds is the kennel name of

Ernie and Darla Duffey.

We are owned by a bevy of beautiful sable and white shelties. We are hobby breeders and we show our own dogs. No, we don’t own a kennel and our dogs don’t live in a kennel. A “kennel name”

is a trademark that exhibitors use to identify themselves and their dogs. All of our shelties are house dogs.

Since 1988 when our first AKC Champion finished his title, we have bred an additional 5 champion shelties. We reside in Jacksonville, Fl

We are founders of the Jacksonville Shetland Sheepdog Club,. We are members of the American Shetland Sheepdog Assoc (A.S.S.A.)

We also belong to the Greater Orange Park Dog Club, where Darla is Vice President (All-Breed)

When we do breed a litter, we breed for ourselves and the show ring. We do not normally breed to produce puppies for sale to the general public, but we do occasionally have puppies available to the right homes.

Our goal is to produce beautiful, healthy, genetically and temperamentally sound shelties who will in turn reproduce those same qualities in their offspring.
